Film screening of ‘Ghost in the Machine’ planned April 23

The screening of the mind-expanding investigative essay documentary will be held at 4 p.m. April 23 in Ming Hsieh Hall, Room G21.

A 2026 Sundance Film Festival Official Selection, “Ghost in the Machine” explores the philosophical, cultural and political forces driving the global AI boom.

A panel discussion will be held following the screening. 

Panel members include the following: 

     • Devin Sanchez Curry, associate professor of philosophy.
     • Catherine Fonseca, student success and instructional librarian.
     • Joseph Jones, assistant professor in creative arts and media.
