Researchers in the Division of Physical Therapy are conducting a study to better understand how screen time shapes play, physical activity and early development in young children.

This work aims to generate insights that can help guide families, clinicians and educators in supporting healthy development during the early years.

Parents or primary caregivers aged 18 or older who have a child between 2-5 years old are invited to participate.

Participation involves completing five brief surveys about your child’s daily routines, screen use and activity patterns. All surveys together take approximately 15-20 minutes and can be completed online through a secure link.

This study has been approved by the WVU Institutional Review Board.

Complete the survey.
