Created by the Division of Talent and Culture, the WVU Impact Awards program will continue to honor the extraordinary contributions of our dedicated faculty and staff.
Now in its second year, the systemwide recognition program aims to shine a spotlight on employees whose commitment to excellence has made a lasting impact on the University.
Each year, leaders across the University recognize employees or groups of employees with medallions, produced by the Lane Innovation Hub, to symbolize the recipients’ outstanding contributions to our University and our state.
Each November and December, a committee selects seven to 10 WVU Impact Award recipients to receive the Outstanding Mountaineer Award. This end-of-year honor recognizes a select group of WVU Impact Award winners who have gone above and beyond.
