The WVU Bookstore is requesting all faculty and instructors to submit their course material adoptions for summer and fall courses by April 1.
You must take action no matter what you choose to do for textbooks and materials, including the following:
• You are readopting the same textbooks/materials you already use for a course.
• You are making changes to your textbooks/materials.
• You are not requiring textbooks/materials.
With the First Day Complete course material delivery program, it is critical that faculty and instructors provide the WVU Bookstore with their most up-to-date course textbook and materials needs by the adoption deadline of April 1.
Students’ ability to make an informed decision about their participation in the program requires full faculty participation during the course material adoption process. Note that First Day Complete is only available for the fall and spring semesters.
Submitting these materials by the deadline also ensures the WVU Bookstore has ample time to source products and work through any issues.
Watch for the WVU Bookstore’s emails about the adoption process. You can also share your textbook information through the Adoption Insight Portal, accessible through the WVU Portal.
