The Department of Communication Studies is seeking participants for a 30-day study examining how people use social media platforms, like TikTok.
Adults ages 18 and older who use TikTok daily are eligible to participate in this study.
Participants will be asked to complete the following:
• A brief pre-survey to determine your eligibility.
• 30 daily surveys, each taking approximately five minutes to complete.
• One 15-minute session at the end of the 30 days.
Your total participation in this research will take about three hours.
Surveys will be emailed to participants at 8 p.m. each Monday evening and must be completed by midnight. You will receive one survey per day for the next 30 days. Surveys can be completed on a smartphone, tablet or computer.
Agreeing to participate in this study acknowledges a five-minute time commitment every evening for 30 days.
Participants can earn up to $50 in Amazon gift cards for participation.
Participants must complete at least 10 daily surveys to receive an Amazon gift card. Participants will earn 50 cents per survey completed.
If you complete 25 of the 30 daily surveys, you will receive a $25 Amazon gift card. If you attend a single 15-minute session at the end of the 30 days, you will receive an additional $25 Amazon gift card.
