Spring 2026 enrollment is open for the MindFit Academic and Autism Support programs.
Encourage students struggling with time management, note-taking and/or study skills to become more confident learners by joining the MindFit Academic Enhancement program.
MindFit goals include the development of strong time management, organization and study skills along with improved motivation and confidence by offering the following services:
• Weekly one-on-one academic coaching.
• Academic skills consultations.
• Psycho-educational testing.
For more than 10 years, MindFit has provided one-on-one academic coaching to students with learning challenges. Students thrive with an average 3.1 GPA, and significantly higher retention and graduation rates than the WVU average.
The Autism Support Program provides students and their families an opportunity to customize the college experience, empowering autistic students for success.
Students may be eligible to receive financial assistance from the West Virginia Department of Rehabilitation Services by calling 304-285-3155. Out-of-state students should check their local vocational rehabilitation office.
