macOS Tahoe available, Mac users encouraged to update by Nov. 17

Student With Laptop Computer

The new macOS Tahoe is now available for installation on WVU-owned and -managed computers, and employees are encouraged to update at their earliest convenience.

ITS has tested macOS Tahoe against critical applications such as eCampus and Banner/STAR and found no compatibility issues.

Personally owned devices used for work or study may also be updated anytime.

Installing this update can take up to an hour and will require a restart of your computer. To avoid potential disruption on Nov. 17, when macOS Tahoe will be pushed to all WVU computers, Information Technology Services recommends faculty and staff schedule the update for a convenient time.

If you encounter a problem, call the ITS Service Desk at 304-293-4444 or contact your college or department IT team.
