Applications open for third Cloud Analytics Faculty Fellowship

Faculty applications for the third round of the Cloud Analytics Faculty Fellowship are due by Nov. 2. 

This initiative, backed by the Office of the Provost, seeks to empower faculty with resources to integrate advanced data analytics and cloud computing into their curricula, enhancing student skills in critical thinking, problem-solving and innovation.

The fellowship encourages collaboration with industry leaders, including the High Technology Foundation, Cloud Service Providers and NOAA’s Open Data Dissemination Initiative, offering a unique opportunity to expose students to real-world data challenges, especially in climate and weather analysis.

Fellowship benefits include the following:

  • Interdisciplinary collaboration on curriculum enhancement.

  • Access to extensive datasets for classroom use.

  • A financial stipend for participants.
