Researchers from the Department of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy are conducting a study to test a new telehealth method for assessing babies’ movements.

The goal is to learn whether video technology can help doctors better understand how babies move and grow.

Participation takes less than 1 hour from home and includes a secure Zoom call, and brief online surveys.

Your baby is eligible if they are 2-4 months old, you have internet access and a smartphone or tablet, and your baby was either exposed or not exposed to substances during pregnancy.

Parents who complete the study will receive a $50 gift card as compensation.

This study has been approved by the West Virginia University Institutional Review Board.
