Researcher seeking expectant and new moms for remote study on tummy time

Baby

Researchers in the Department of Physical Therapy are recruiting participants for a fully remote study tracking infant tummy time using a soft sensor-equipped onesie.

The study involves your baby wearing the onesie for two days at one, two and four months of age.

Materials will be delivered directly to your home, and you will complete short surveys at each stage, plus a brief phone survey when your baby turns one.

Your baby is eligible if they were born at or after 37 weeks, are currently four to six weeks old and you live within 15 miles of Ruby Memorial Hospital.

You will receive a $25 gift card for each timepoint you complete.

This study has been approved by the West Virginia University Institutional Review Board.

For more information or to see if you qualify, contact Ketaki Inamdar, principal investigator, at Ketaki.Inamdar@hsc.wvu.edu or complete the screening form.
