Researchers seeking babies for kicking and learning study

baby in crib

Families of babies between the ages of 3 and 4 months are encouraged to participate in this study conducted by researchers from the Department of Physical Therapy to explore how babies learn and recall information during a fun kicking game.

The study involves two visits to the WVU baby laboratory which will last from 1-1.5 hours. During the visits, your baby will play a kicking game in a crib while being video recorded. A thorough developmental assessment will also be conducted by experienced developmental therapists.

Families who complete both visits will receive a $50 gift card and limited mileage reimbursement for travel to the lab.

This study has been approved by the WVU Institutional Review Board.
