coffee mug and a laptop computer

Attend a virtual workshop hosted by the BRIDGE Faculty Fellows program to learn more about how to communicate your research in a way that is useful for policymakers and the public from noon to 1 p.m. Monday (June 9).

The one-hour overview workshop will cover how to write for The Conversation, op-eds, policy briefs and other communication mechanisms. During the workshop, you will also receive a link to sign up for your 30-minute, one-on-one coaching session on how to translate your research to have the impact you want on society.

The workshop and coaching are provided by Deborah Stine, the founder of the Science and Technology Policy Academy who has taught and coached researchers on how to communicate their science and technology research throughout the country.

The workshop is based on Stine’s book “From Expertise to Impact: A Practical Guide to Informing and Influencing Science and Technology Policy,” and all registered attendees will receive a complimentary PDF copy of the book.

If you are interested but cannot attend the workshop, a recording will be made available to all registered participants.
