As part of continuing efforts to gather feedback on the employee experience, the Division of Talent and Culture has added several final sessions to the Employee Experience Focus Group schedule.
Part of an initiative that began in April, these one-hour sessions provide faculty and staff with an opportunity to share their thoughts and experiences as a WVU employee.
The newly added sessions will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams, and the meeting link will be emailed following registration.
While previous sessions were grouped by unit or college, the virtual sessions are not specific to any unit/college.
Available sessions include the following:
• June 3 at 12:30 p.m. — Leadership
• June 4 at 11 a.m. — Staff
• June 10 at 10 a.m. — Faculty
• June 10 at 1 p.m. — Staff
• June 11 at 11:00 a.m. — Leadership
A Strategic HR Partner will facilitate the focus groups, focusing on three key topics:
• Receiving appropriate recognition for good work,
• Having adequate opportunities for growth and development, and
• Feeling comfortable sharing opinions and feedback with your supervisor.
The feedback gathered from these focus groups will be analyzed and shared with college/unit leaders and University leaders.
College/unit leaders will use this information to identify areas of strength within their team and opportunities for growth so we can best serve our employees.
Your feedback will remain anonymous when shared with leaders.
Your input is essential to gaining a clear understanding of what is working well and where improvements are needed across the WVU System, and we appreciate your participation.
