To provide supervisors with additional time to complete evaluations for classified and non-classified staff and certain FE/AP employees as part of the University’s 2024 performance review process, the WVU Talent and Culture team is shifting the performance review schedule.
The updated performance review schedule is as follows:
April 23, 11:59 p.m. — New deadline for supervisors to complete evaluations for their direct reports.
April 28 to April 30 — Analytic reports are provided to vice president/AVP/dean levels and SHRPs for review, approval and/or modifications.
May 5 — Vice presidents/AVP/deans complete their review process and authorize the final ratings.
May 7 to May 23 — Supervisors may conduct employee review meetings.
The annual performance review process is an important tool that allows supervisors to measure each employee’s capabilities, accomplishments, development and overall contributions to the University as well as the critical role each employee plays in bringing our land-grant mission to life.
