Student Health adjusts operating hours for summer and fall semester

Student Health Building

WVU Student Health is adjusting operating hours and services to better fit the needs of the University community.

An array of primary and acute care services will continue to be offered. Patients can be seen at WVU Medicine Urgent or Emergency Care for immediate needs or can also access any WVU Medicine clinics with their health insurance. Sexual assault cases are always referred directly to Emergency Care for quick access and treatment.

On May 16, Student Health will close for the summer. Any student with acute needs over the summer can be evaluated at WVU Medicine Urgent Care at the Suncrest Towne Center.

Student Health will reopen at the start of the fall semester, Aug. 18, by appointment. Operating hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Appointments can still be self-scheduled on MyWVUChart or by phone at 304-285-7200.

As with WVU Student Health, all WVU Medicine health care services are convenient to campus and accessible by the PRT and the Mountain Line.
