Engage with the community through OLLI at WVU

Teaching for OLLI

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at WVU is seeking volunteer instructors and presenters for the summer term, which runs from July 14 through Aug. 23.

Volunteers come from all walks of life, and your expertise, creativity and enthusiasm are welcome.

Designed for older adults, OLLI offers classes in the arts, history, literature, sciences, math, health and wellness, philosophy and more. Courses usually include one to six sessions and are typically 90 to 105 minutes.

The classes can be delivered in person or on Zoom and may be in the form of lectures, discussions and workshops.

OLLI members are engaged, enthusiastic learners from around West Virginia and southern Pennsylvania.

With no tests or grades, OLLI is teaching for the fun of it.

Find more information about OLLI and submit a course proposal by April 7.

For questions or to discuss your proposal, contact Jascenna Haislet at olli@hsc.wvu.edu or 304-293-1793.
