Login to Facilities Service Desk will look different starting Sunday

Employees and students who currently use the Facilities Service Desk application to submit facility/maintenance work order requests for WVU buildings on all campuses will notice a change to the login process at fsd.wvu.edu. 

The service will be unavailable for approximately five minutes on Sunday (Feb. 23) while this change is being made.

The current web address, fsd.wvu.edu, will immediately redirect you to a login screen for SOLE, a WVU system used primarily by Health Sciences. To log in, you will enter your WVU Login credentials and authenticate with Duo as you normally do. The new FSD page will display, and there are convenient tabs across the top for quick navigation to more specific site content.

To submit a facility/maintenance request, select the Submit tab and complete the request form. You will see a new field, Request Title, where you will enter a brief title or summary of your request. Complete the fields and click Submit at the bottom. You will receive email notifications as your request is assigned and completed.

If you have bookmarked the current FSD site and don’t type in the web address, delete that bookmark once this change has been made.

If you currently request work orders through a Building Supervisor or directly in the WVU Facilities Maintenance system, Unifier, continue doing so.
