The three-part series with Leighann Scott, the University’s campus dietitian, will focus on improving one’s relationship with food and body.
Faculty, staff and students are invited to attend the first workshop titled “Disordered Eating: Fact vs. Fiction” at 6 p.m. tomorrow (Feb. 20) on Zoom.
The workshop will discuss the following common myths and misperceptions around disordered eating and eating disorders:
How the body responds when faced with disordered eating.
Why calories in versus calories out is nonsense.
What the body truly needs in terms of health and energy.
Note that February is Eating Disorder Awareness Month.
