CED to host event on traumatic brain injury

AliveToThrive

The West Virginia Traumatic Brain Injury Services program at the WVU Center for Excellence in Disabilities is partnering with the MoCrazy Strong Foundation and the Challenged Athletes of West Virginia to host “Alive to Thrive Day” at Canaan Valley Resort on Feb. 28.

The event is centered around a screening of #MoCrazyStrong, a documentary about professional skier Jamie MoCrazy who acquired a traumatic brain injury after an accident and her recovery journey.

MoCrazy is the keynote speaker.

Registration is free for West Virginia residents with a traumatic brain injury, family members and caregivers.

There is also a general admission option and an opportunity for professionals to earn a CEU.
