The University community is invited to attend the open house event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow (Jan. 30) in the REACH Lounge on the third floor of the Student Services Center.
REACH supports all undergraduate students from their transition into college through graduation by providing tutoring, success coaching, peer study groups and support through live chat with a peer assistant via text at 304-396-7241.
Professional staff, peer assistants and success coaches provide personalized support and resources to students in every area of study.
“Our mission is to empower students throughout their academic journey,” said Regan Bruni, director of the REACH Student Success Center. “We take a team-based approach to meet students where they are.”
Bruni credits REACH’s collaboration with Student Life, Student Support Services/TRIO, and the STEM Learning Center, among others, for keeping students enrolled and on the path to graduation.
The REACH Lounge provides study spaces and access to printing, school supplies, snacks and Ruby, the official visitation therapy dog for the Office of Student Success.
