The 2024 W-2 forms are now available online for all current University employees under the MyHR tab at portal.wvu.edu.
Paper copies will be mailed on or before Friday (Jan. 31) to the home address of all WVU, WVU Potomac State College, WVU Tech and WVU Parkersburg employees.
If you had a change of address, we request that you allow time for the post office to deliver your original form before requesting a duplicate copy.
After Feb. 10, duplicate copies can be requested by sending an email to tax@mail.wvu.edu. For verification purposes, please provide your name, telephone number, month and year of birth, and either your WVU ID or your employee number. For your protection, do not provide your Social Security number via email when requesting W-2 information.
To protect personal information, employees should not access either their pay stub or W-2 from a public computer. For your security, when accessing either your paystub or your W-2 form from home, use the WVU VPN. If you do not have VPN installed, it can be downloaded at remote.wvu.edu.
