The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at WVU is seeking volunteer instructors and presenters for the spring 2025 term, which runs from April 7 through May 30.
Designed for older adults from around West Virginia and southern Pennsylvania, OLLI offers non-credit classes in the arts, history, literature, sciences, math, health and wellness, philosophy and more.
The classes can be delivered in person, hybrid or on Zoom and may be in the form of lectures, discussions and workshops. Courses usually include one to eight sessions and are typically 90 to 105 minutes.
The following are examples of how OLLI enriches its members’ lives:
“I love the opportunity to expand what I do know and to discover new ideas.”
“OLLI gives me the chance to learn about subjects that I didn’t know much about.”
“It made me realize that I’m never too old to learn.”
