Babies sought for kicking and learning study

Baby

Researchers from the Department of Physical Therapy are conducting a study to explore how babies ages 3 to 5 months learn and recall information during a fun kicking game.

The study involves two visits to the WVU Baby Laboratory, each lasting 1-1.5 hours.

During the visits, babies will play a kicking game in a crib while being video recorded. A thorough developmental assessment will also be conducted by experienced developmental therapists.

Families who complete both visits will receive a $50 gift card, and limited mileage reimbursement may be available for travel.

This study has been approved by the WVU Institutional Review Board.
