The former prisoner of war and retired U.S. Army soldier will speak on her survival and rescue during the 2003 invasion of Iraq at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow (Dec. 3) in the Mountainlair, Gluck Theatre.
Jessica Lynch, a West Virginia native, was awarded the Bronze Star, Purple Heart and Prisoner of War Medal.
The event is hosted by WVU Center for Veteran, Military and Family Program and REACH Student Success.
