The West Virginia Water Research Institute will highlight current water research and restoration projects in the region during a three-part virtual seminar series from 10-11 a.m. on the first Thursday of each month beginning Dec. 5 on Zoom.
Presentations by WVU researchers and specialists affiliated with the WVWRI will be followed by a Q&A session.
Topics include critical materials recovery from acid mine drainage, sources of funding and technical assistance, and the new Common Waters initiative that connects WVU students with a watershed group through the MDS 489 capstone course.
