Robynn Shannon, director of curriculum development in the Office of the Provost, will offer workshops on the curriculum mapping process for anyone who is or will be involved in developing a curriculum map for their academic program.
A curriculum map is required for a curriculum proposal — program revision or new program — and the self-study for a Board of Governors five-year program review.
A well-constructed curriculum map can provide valuable information about an academic program’s curricular structure and forms the basis for meaningful program-level assessment of student learning.
