The WVU Office of Sustainability is continuing its efforts to build a more sustainable future for all Mountaineers with a variety of in-person events and virtual learning tools during Sustainability Week.
Event highlights include:
Sustainability Goals Booth: Visit the Sustainability team at its booth in the Mountainlair Commons from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today (Oct. 21). Faculty, staff and students are invited to learn more about the University’s goals to reduce waste, protect land and water, and lower emissions.
Waste Reduction Resources: Explore online resources and tips for reducing waste Tuesday (Oct. 22).
Protect Land and Water Wednesday: Participate in volunteer activities like tree planting, invasive species removal and pollinator garden maintenance Wednesday (Oct. 23). Sign-ups are available on the iServe platform.
Lowering Emissions Day: Stop by the Towers PRT station to learn about the PRT’s eco-friendly operations and discover tools to help you explore alternative transportation options Thursday (Oct. 24).
