The West Virginia Brownfields Assistance Centers at WVU and Marshall University announced the award winners at the annual state Brownfields and Main Street Conference in Summersville earlier this month.
The awards recognize individuals and communities who have made major contributions to the redevelopment of brownfields in West Virginia.
The former Staats Hospital building in Charleston, Prichard Hotel in Huntington and Richwood Dreamers are among other redevelopment projects, communities and leaders to be honored.
