Artists from Mon Hills Records and the WVU Bluegrass Band are set to perform at the annual West Virginia Pawpaw Festival slated for noon to 5 p.m. Saturday (Sept. 28) at the WVU Core Arboretum lawn area.
Mon Hills Records artists Dylan Hinzman will perform at noon, Buffalo Run at 1 p.m. and Jennifer Cooper at 4 p.m. The WVU Bluegrass Band will take the stage at 2 p.m.
A variety of pawpaw fruits will be available to sample and purchase, Chef Marion Ohlinger will prepare pawpaw dishes and Andrew Moore will talk about his book “Pawpaw: In Search of America’s Forgotten Fruit.” Food trucks will also be available.
Admission is free and parking will be available at the Coliseum.
