If you are struggling to tie your scientific research to community benefits and broader impacts, join the West Virginia Local Science Engagement Network webinar to learn how to connect with WVU community engagement experts from the Division for Land-grant Engagement.

The webinar will feature Kristi Wood-Turner, director for the Center for Community Engagement, and Tony Michael, program director for WVU Extension Family and Community Development, at noon Friday (Sept. 20) on Zoom.

Wood-Turner, with degrees in sociology and educational leadership, has served as a reviewer of community benefits plans for the U.S. Department of Energy.

Michael, with degrees in English and law, has deep ties to labor unions and connections with Extension agents in all 55 West Virginia counties.
