Researchers seeking preterm babies ages 3-7 months for development study

baby

Researchers from the Department of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy are conducting a study to understand the impact of prematurity on motor development.

The study involves a single visit to the WVU Baby Laboratory, which will last less than one hour.

Small movement sensors will be attached to the baby's onesie and your baby will be recorded while playing during tummy time for as long as they can tolerate it.

Parents who complete the study will receive a $50 gift card as compensation.

This study has been approved by the West Virginia University Institutional Review Board and approval is on file.

For more information or to see if you qualify, contact Ketaki Inamdar, principal investigator, at Ketaki.Inamdar@hsc.wvu.edu or complete the screening form.
