Regional artist to release new single

Lauren Winans’ new single “Wine Me Up” is set to release on all streaming platforms today (April 30). Highlighting her 10 year journey of love, divorce and heartache, this is the first single off her new extended play “Truth will Set You Free.”

She worked exclusively with the Music Business and Industry Program to bring her EP to life. 

Winans spent 11 years in Nashville songwriting and promoting her music which has been featured on the Oxygen Channel, AT&T and for women’s cosmetics brand Senegence, for whom she also served as a spokesperson.

Returning to her home state, Winans is currently the host of “304 TODAY” on WBOY. The television show features lifestyles, culture and music throughout the state and region. Winans was recently recognized by Gov. Jim Justice for her efforts as a news reporter supporting the arts in West Virginia.

A Buckhannon native and mother of two, she also advocates for abused women and is an active member of her church.
