The Gamma Mu Chapter of Delta Omega Public Health Honor Society will host its annual poster competition at 1 p.m. March 22 in the Health Sciences Center, Room G119A.
Faculty members are encouraged to share this opportunity with undergraduate and graduate students who are actively conducting research in public health or health-related fields.
Winners in each category will earn the chance to submit their poster to the National Delta Omega Poster Competition and receive $500 to assist with travel and conference expenses.
One such success story is Mohini Chatterji, a current doctoral student in epidemiology and previous competition winner, who used her $500 prize to attend the American Public Health Association’s 2023 Annual Meeting in Atlanta where she showcased her research on barriers to naloxone access in West Virginia.
