Beginning Monday (March 11), the City of Morgantown will close a portion of North High Street near the Mountainlair between Prospect Street and Maiden Lane to allow Morgantown Utility Board crews to work on sewer lines in the area.

The North High Street exit for the top floor of the Mountainlair parking garage, Lot ST-2, will be unavailable during this time. Drivers should enter and exit the top floor of the garage through the College Avenue access point.

Drivers may also experience detours in the area and should follow applicable signage or use alternative routes.

Permit holders who park in areas near this work and are having difficulty accessing their parking lot may park in Lot ST-2 at the Mountainlair, if it is more convenient for them. Permits must be displayed.

The City anticipates this work will be complete by Friday, March 15; however, weather and other unexpected delays may extend their timeline.
