Student and Faculty Innovation

The Office of Student and Faculty Innovation will host Eileen Chant, program manager of the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer, at 11 a.m. tomorrow (Feb. 1) on Zoom. 

Chant will present an overview of the programs funded by the DOE SBIR and STTR, the application process and awardee assistance programs. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session. 

The DOE SBIR and STTR programs provide early-stage, non-dilutive research and development funding for entrepreneurs to develop their technology and commercialize it. 

Innovators with an early-stage technology that has commercial potential are encouraged to attend.
