Parking Management Office going cashless, announces holiday closings

In an effort to streamline processes, the WVU Parking Management Office will no longer accept cash payments for items such as citations or parking permits at its Mountaineer Station office effective Jan. 1.

The office will continue to accept its preferred payment method of credit/debit card and will also accept checks.

Cash payments will continue to be accepted for parking payments at short-term parking lots.

The Parking Management Office will be closed from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 20. The office will also be closed from Dec. 27- 29 and will resume normal hours of operation Jan. 2.

Drivers can pay citations, purchase permits, view parking lot information and more online.

Several parking lots on campus may be blocked off during the holiday break as the Roads and Grounds team operate at reduced staffing levels. If you are staying on campus through the holidays, allow extra time for the roads and lots to be cleared in cases of inclement weather.
