Distinction in Mentoring Graduate Students in Research Award nominations open

The Office of Graduate Education and Life invites faculty, staff and current and former graduate students to nominate faculty who exhibit excellent mentorship in graduate research and/or creative work.

This award honors and encourages the considerable efforts and accomplishments of faculty who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to the mentorship of graduate students. 

One finalist will be selected from each of the following Benedum Foundation categories:

• Physical sciences and technology

• Humanities and the arts

• Behavioral and social sciences

• Biosciences and health sciences

One faculty member will be chosen to receive a $2,500 award.

Nominations are due by 5 p.m. Jan. 16.
