The 2023 Capitol Christmas Tree, a 63-foot Norway spruce that was harvested from the Monongahela National Forest, will be wrapped up and displayed on an extra-long trailer as it makes its way to Washington for the holiday season from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 11) at the Monongalia County Courthouse Square.

Attendees can enjoy live music, food trucks, hot chocolate and photos with Santa, and other kids’ activities. Capitol Christmas Tree merchandise will also be available for purchase.

Participants are invited to bring an unwrapped toy for the Toys for Tots campaign, which provides Christmas gifts to children in our community.
