The School of Medicine divisions of Exercise Physiology and Physical Therapy faculty and students are recruiting participants between the ages of 25 and 65 who do not have a diagnosed neurological condition for a research study exploring early risk factors for falling.
Eligible participants should not have experienced prolonged dizziness or a lower extremity injury or surgery within the past six months.
Participants will be asked to complete several questionnaires about their physical activity and health history as well as complete several balance and walking tests. Participation will take approximately 30-45 minutes.
The first testing will take place from 1-4 p.m. Friday (Oct. 13) at the Health Sciences Center. Additional testing will be announced at a later date.
