The West Virginia Public Education Collaborative invites the WVU community to explore cutting-edge educational practices and innovative curricula at the 2023 Intermediate Unit 1 Innovation Showcase from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday (Oct. 4) at the Erickson Alumni Center.
Join IU1 and schools from around northern West Virginia, southwestern Pennsylvania and Ohio as they feature projects that have been funded through grants by the Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation, EQT Foundation and the Equitrans Midstream Foundation.
Stop in to explore, learn and connect with local educational organizations, teachers and students on how they got a jump-start in innovation through the Innovation Grants. Projects cover a wide variety of topics including sustainable agriculture, energy sources, digital design/fabrication, computer science, robotics, math, anatomy, arts and much more.
