Our home among the hills here in West Virginia becomes a beautiful backdrop for outdoor activity as the leaves begin to change color. The cooler temperatures also remind us that respiratory illness season is just around the corner.
Whether you want to explore the mountains or are preparing for winter, you can find resources for your physical health on the WVU well-being website.
Faculty, staff and students interested in on- and off-campus recreation have access to experiences, classes and programs provided by Adventure WV in Morgantown, Tech Adventures in Beckley, the Recreation Center in Keyser, and many more.
Preventive care like flu vaccinations is available through Student Health Services on the Morgantown Campus. The on-campus clinic also provides wellness visits, on-site X-rays, lab services, referrals and more. WVU Medicine is also available for emergent and extensive health care needs as illnesses become more prevalent during the fall and winter months.
Other resources, like WELLWVU, are also available to support the campus community’s nutrition, sleep and stress management needs for physical health. Many resources are online and accessible to students no matter where they are located.
Explore the well-being website and find your path to health, wellness and well-being for the fall semester and beyond.
