Guided meditation and Q&A sessions will be available from noon-1 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays in the Mountainlair beginning Monday, Oct. 2.
Mindfulness practices can help develop self-awareness and non-judgmental engagement in moment-to-moment experiences. These practices have been shown to be effective in reducing and coping with various forms of psychological distress, including rumination and worry.
No previous meditation experience is necessary to join the sessions and all skill levels are welcome. Chairs will be provided and equipment is not needed; however, you are welcome to bring mats, towels and other supplies.
