Student Health hosts flu shot clinics

The campus pop-up clinics are open to faculty, staff, students, alumni and family members ages 9 and older. 

The high-dose influenza vaccine intended for individuals ages 65 and older will not be available. These patients should discuss the standard dose vaccine with their primary care physician, and if they wish to receive the standard dose, they can receive it at the campus clinics.

Individuals with insurance should bring their insurance card and a valid ID.

Flu clinics will be held on the following dates:

  • Oct. 12: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Mountainlair, Shenandoah Room

  • Oct. 13: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Student Rec Center, Room 102

  • Oct. 16: 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Student Rec Center, Room 102

  • Oct.18: noon to 3 p.m. in the Student Rec Center, Room 102

  • Oct. 24: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Mountainlair, Shenandoah Room

  • Nov. 2: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Mountainlair, Vandalia Lounge

Walk-in appointments are also available to the WVU community through WVU Medicine Student Health during regular business hours from 7:45 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9:45 a.m. to 4 p.m on Saturdays.
