Philip Clifford, associate dean for research at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Applied Health Science, will present "Developing and Enhancing Your Skills as a Research Mentor" from 1-4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 5, at the Health Sciences Center, Room G119A.
This special in-person workshop will discuss effective strategies for supporting research mentees.

This program will also include a four-part virtual series from 9-11 a.m on Oct. 5, 12, 19 and 26.
The interactive program is open to anyone who is currently a mentee conducting clinical and translational research and interested in becoming a more effective mentee.
Attendees will explore the important aspects of the research mentoring relationship, including setting expectations and fostering professional development of mentees.
Graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, clinical residents or fellows, or early career stage investigators interested in the Mentee Training Program are encouraged to attend.
