Provost’s Office to hold Academic Transformation appeal process support session

WVU Downtown Campus

The Provost’s Office will hold the second virtual appeal process support session at 9 a.m. Monday (Aug. 21) for deans, directors, chairs and faculty who would like to discuss the program review appeal process.

The session will address the differences between appealing for discontinued programs and for reduced faculty numbers, as well as offer guidance on how to prepare a staffing plan for programs appealing their reduction in faculty.

Associate Provost Lou Slimak will lead the discussion.

Join the session on Zoom.

Details about the program review process and other Academic Transformation initiatives are available on the  Provost’s Office website.

The timeline, Campus Conversations,  updated FAQ  and other resources related to academics, operations, finance and more are available at  transformation.wvu.edu, including an update this week to include a detailed outline of the program review appeals process. The website also includes forms to submit new ideas or provide comments.
