WVU Community Music Program registration open

Community Music Program

Turn your inspiration and creativity into music, take your playing to the next level or unlock your musical potential by joining private music lessons, group classes or large and small ensembles with the Community Music Program.

The program is open to beginners, amateurs and performers of all ages and levels who wish to enhance their daily lives with art, explore new creative territories or perform with others who share the same passion.

For the program’s 13-week term, members can register for private instruction on a variety of instruments, sign up for new and returning group classes or perform with the Morgantown Community Orchestra. All classes are taught by School of Music and Community Music Program faculty members, including the program’s newest initiative, the Suzuki Cello Program with Cello Professor Erin Ellis.

Classes begin Aug. 28, and early registration will remain open from Aug. 14 to Sept.10. Late registration will close Oct. 29, during which time a late fee of $15 will be applied to all incoming registrations.
