Awe-some research study seeks participants

Heart Monitor

Julie Patrick and the Healthy Aging Lab in the Department of Psychology invite men and women ages 30 years and older to participate in a research study examining the ways that feelings of awe influence heart rate.

Participants will be asked to wear a heart rate monitor that fits around their upper ribs like a belt while viewing two brief videos, rating their emotional responses and completing a few reaction time tasks.

It may take up to 40 minutes to complete the research study and individuals will receive $10 at the end of their participation.

Volunteer to participate.

WVU IRB acknowledgement of this study is on file.
