Faculty and staff may be feeling a broad range of emotions amid the University’s ongoing conversations regarding the structural budget deficit and Academic Transformation.
The Faculty and Staff Assistance Program wants you to know that it is normal to experience fear, anxiety and even anger or sadness in an unknown and unpredictable landscape.
FSAP understands that these feelings can be overwhelming and challenging to manage, and it wants to remind WVU employees that it's okay to feel this way and that help is available.
If you are struggling with any of these emotions, the FSAP team encourages you to reach out. FSAP providers create a safe space and offer a compassionate, listening ear to help you carry the emotional load.
Remember, you do not have to go through this alone. The Faculty and Staff Assistance Program is here to support you.
FSAP is a confidential, free resource available to WVU employees and their families. Each employee may participate in three free counseling sessions annually.
