As part of West Virginia University’s efforts to promote transparency related to faculty and staff pay, Talent and Culture and Information Technology Services recently partnered on an initiative to provide employees easy access to their salary information in the Applaud HR system.
Effective Sunday (May 7), a new feature will be enabled in Applaud to allow faculty, staff and student workers to view their own current base salary.
For employees with more than one assignment, salary information will be displayed only for the employee’s primary assignment.
Benefits-eligible employees are encouraged to review their salary information as it relates to the updated Public Employees Insurance Agency salary ranges for Plan Year 2024 (effective Aug. 1). View the PEIA Shopper’s Guide for more information.
As a reminder, Open Enrollment for Plan Year 2024 has been extended through Wednesday, May 31.
