A Campus Conversation was held Wednesday (April 26) via Zoom focused on recent changes to the Public Employees Insurance Agency, including a presentation outlining basic PEIA benefits and plans, key changes made after S.B. 268 passed during the legislative session and the effects on the University and employees.
If you missed the virtual session, you can watch the archived Conversation at this link. The video is also available at the Campus Conversations website.
Additional questions and feedback may be emailed to campusconversations@mail.wvu.edu.*NOTE: The University received the following update from PEIA on April 27, 2023.
Due to the unavoidable delays in printing and mailing the Shopper's Guide for Plan Year 2024, PEIA has chosen to extend Open Enrollment through May 31, 2023. This extension allows you extra time to take necessary Open Enrollment decisions for the next plan year. Please share this information with your employees.
We have added several plan comparison tools to our website to help you understand the differences and compare costs among the plans PEIA offers. You'll find the new resources at https://peia.wv.gov/members/Pages/OE.aspx
Remember, you can make any changes by calling PEIA's Open Enrollment Helpline to request a Transfer Form or by visiting the Manage My Benefits website at
https://openenrollment.wvpeia.com/YRE/index.cfm to access your account online. All forms must be delivered to your benefit coordinator no later than May 31, 2023, and all online transactions must be completed by 11:00 p.m. on May 31, 2023.
The FBMC Open Enrollment is also extended to May 31, 2023.
